Even for young boys, the effect of respect is nothing short of astounding when applied properly.

Drawing on the latest findings from neuroscience, Dr. Cloud shows why it's critical for leaders to set the conditions that make people's brains perform at their highest levels. How do great leaders do this? One way is through the creation of "boundaries" - structures that determine what will exist and what will not.

Love is important, but it is respect that is the key to your son's heart. The idea of moms respecting their sons may sound alien to some, but it seems to ignite curiosity across the board. It is easy to relate to the need for all of us to feel a mother's love, but is that the same thing as respect? Even for young boys, the effect of respect is nothing short of astounding when applied properly.

Story
For many women, having a baby girl is a dream come true. But as girls grow up, the narrative of innocence and joy changes to one of dread as moms are told, "Just wait until she's a teenager!" Author, blogger, and mom to four daughters Kari Kampakis thinks it's time to change the narrative that leads moms to parent teen girls with a spirit of defeat instead of strength. Love Her Well isn't a guide to help mothers "fix" their daughters or make them behave. It's about a mom's journey, doing the heart-work necessary to love a teenager while still being a steady, supportive parent.

Unmatched chapters
Overall the message was great, I took a lot from the book. I got this due to a church group that started a book club to better help our teens. We didn't read the chapters in order so it was extremely difficult and time consuming to find the chapter within the hour long chapts the book is broken into. It will hold 3+ actual chapters within the chapter its labeled. I would not finish this book if it wasn't for the book club I'm in. Because of this, I don't know if I would personally listen to the other books he has.

Loved his message
In the beginning of the book thought I won’t start learning what the title was about but it did eventually. There so much content on how to help parents with smaller children that teens doesn’t get much insight but found this book to be extremely helpful.
