Publisher's summary
Audible presents The Opposite of Love, an Audible Original. Dheeman, a travel influencer, lives an enviable life full of paid-for travel and every luxury one can dream about. Amal, on the other hand, has just about scraped enough money for her first international flight. When the two of them meet on a long-haul flight to the US, they are immediately drawn to each other despite their difference. Over the air miles they rack up, secrets start to stumble out. It turns out their meeting wasn't accidental but orchestrated. Their pasts are intertwined, and while one's looking for redemption, the other's looking for revenge. Falling in love doesn't figure on their list, but when has it ever?

Story
It’s been said that you can’t love two men at the same time. You can’t split your heart, soul, and body in half. But I’m here to tell you, you can. Dylan Cole is like ice, sharp and unpredictable, the thunder inside a tumultuous storm. Smith Reid is warmth, soft and gentle, perfect like a sunny day. Both are mine. But I can have only one. There are two sides to this tale. I'm here to tell you mine. If you think this story is about a cheater, you couldn’t be more wrong.

Just my luck - my new next door neighbor is a unicorn. Yep, the British hottie is clearly a mythical man because - get this - he's a sexy, witty, charming, big-hearted single dad. Who, wait for it, wants to find Mrs. Right and get hitched. He’s a once-in-a-blue-moon kind of man, and it’s a darn shame I’m not on the market. If I were, his accent alone would melt me. Story
Professor Edelstein examines the enduring appeal of Judy Blume’s books. Over seven lessons, you’ll learn how Blume pioneered middle-grade and young adult (YA) literature and helped to make these genres the global sensations they are today. You’ll identify the themes and motifs that run throughout her books, and you’ll review Blume’s books as literary work worthy of analysis. You’ll also see why the very act of questioning (about the existence of God, the persistence of racism, the unwritten rules of suburbia) is so central to Blume’s vision of coming-of-age literature.

It started as a normal birthday celebration. Was there wine? Of course. Did I let loose with my best friends? Absolutely. Did I have one glass too many and follow a tattooed bad boy into a bar? Cue mortification. I don't do reckless, or wild nights of hot sex. Correction: I didn't used to. I also didn't plan to drunk-email my boss and quit my soul-sucking job, leaving me in a financial mess. But I'm churning those lemons into lemonade! I'm chasing my dream job at San Francisco's hottest restaurant. Guess who shows up as my competition? None other than my tattooed bad decision.

Story
Julia Dorning is a spinster, or at least on the road to becoming one. She has no social life, hates her career, and lives in her parent's basement with her cat, Charlie. With the arrival of Jared Moody, the new hire at work, Julia's mundane life is suddenly turned upside down. Her instant (and totally ridiculous) crush on the new guy causes Julia to finally make some long-overdue changes, in hopes to find a life that includes more than baking and hanging out with Charlie. But when the biggest and most unexpected change comes, will the new and improved Julia be able to overcome it?

Heartfelt!!
This was an incredible story of love, pain, grief, forgiveness, hope and sharing a human experience that we all will encounter in our lives. I love the raw emotions and honest with the characters. It touched my heart. Thank you for this amazing story.

Best ever!
I loved everything about this. Storyline, characters, performances, background music, etc. Even though this was about a tragedy and grieving losses, I felt hope, love and joy are always within our grasp. We just need to reach out.

Good story
The background music was annoying and distracted from the story. The narration and storyline were great though.

great story with minor gripe
So glad Audible introduced me to this book! Such a good story, listened to it in one day. The author effortlesly weaves deep and thoughtful commentary on society, social media, survivor's guilt, into a relatively light read. My one gripe is that the female narrator sounds a bit moany and sensual with her excessive sighs, exhales, and voice croaks. Had to take annoyance breaks but the story itself kept me going. Otherwise her perfomance is fantastic.

Loved it so much I wish we could get a movie adaptation. The story is quite well written. The voice actors did a good job too.

Heart Warming
Been awhile since a book/story has moved me as much as this one. The characters hit on thoughts and feelings we all have and are incredibly relatable. Sad, tragic, but also funny uplifting. It left me feeling like a better person for having heard it.

Well read but poor design
I like the premise of the story, and the underlying plot is great. The slowness in which it is revealed is great. But the story is basically told as soliloquies between the two characters, who are both ranting about the same things over and over. There isn’t any chemistry between them and yet they get together. The character growth is forced and awkward. It doesn’t make sense, and the story would actually be better if it was a “we’re about to fall in love” at the end type romance. Almost DNR’d it but it was short and I was out of things to listen to.
